My mother who is 71 has COPD and last stages of empysema. She was recently hospitalized and the doctors gave her the Sentanyl patch to relieve pain along with 2 perkasette 4 times daily. They recently increased the dosage of the Sentanyl from 50mg to 100mg and since then she has become extremely tired and does not seem to know what time of the day or what day it is. I believe this is a result of the drug Sentanyl. Any input is welcome
Pariet 20 mg per day.
I am 57 yr old. type 2 diabetic. hiatus hernia.
I have pain in the joints. I took myself off it and the pain decreased dramatically after one day. When I went back on pariet the same thing happend. I now refuse to take this medication and am looking for a replacement. My doctor doubted my symptoms until they checked the MIMS data base.
I recently had a short surgical procedure in connection with a wrist fracture for which etomidate was used as an anaesthetic. As I was awakening, I experienced a bad reaction in the form of a seisure which lasted at least five minutes it seemed. What I fear most from the use of this drug is the possibility of permanent damage .
